Edna became part of our family in early 2008 and helped raise our two daughters for at least five or six years. As a first-time mom, I was so grateful for Edna’s support—she helped me get our new baby on a schedule and napping somewhere other than her swing! Then, a few years later, when our youngest daughter came along, Edna once again brought calm and structure to our home, giving each of our girls personalized, loving care.

Both girls learned Spanish and sign language from Edna, but most importantly, they always felt safe and deeply loved in her care. Edna loved them as if they were her own, and for that, we are forever grateful. Seventeen years later, we still think of Edna as family.

She is an angel and a baby whisperer—any child would be lucky to be in Edna’s care.

We had the most wonderful experience with Edna. As nervous first time parents it wasn’t easy for us to leave our 11 month old for the first time, but Edna was amazing with her all the way til she went to preschool, and even helped her learn how to walk when physical therapy wasn’t working. Our daughter made so many close friends there who she still sees to this day, and so did we. We’re so grateful to Edna and she will always be family.

Several of our friends recommended Edna’s daycare, and we couldn’t have imagined a better experience. Edna is such a warm, loving, and patient presence, and I know that when my daughter is with her, she’s enjoying a well-structured day that includes plenty of outdoor time and age-appropriate activities. In addition to providing a high-level of care, Edna has created a wonderful environment for little ones. Her home is peaceful and spotless, with lots of child development toys, toddler-sized furniture, and a lovely outdoor space. The only challenge has been convincing my daughter to leave with me at pick-up time!

Edna took care of my son from about 8 months to 2 years old. She speaks Spanish with the children and has a wonderful daily schedule full of reading, singing, dancing etc. She’s incredibly loving and playful. In the time my son was wit Edna he has blossomed physically and socially, adores Edna and looks forward to seeing her in the morning.
